About Us

We help small business owners grow with practical digital marketing — no jargon, no overwhelm, just clear steps you can act on today.

Peerie started the way many small things do — over coffees, late-night messages, and “can I pick your brain?” moments.

Friends running their own businesses would come to me with the same questions: “How do I plan posts without losing an entire day?” “What is going to work for my business?” “What on earth should I do first?”

As more friends launched their ventures, those chats became regular. I loved helping — their grit and ideas genuinely inspired me. But I also saw the struggle up close: when you’re juggling clients, admin, and life, marketing quickly becomes the task for “later.” There’s just never enough time. And the result is familiar: opportunities are missed and posting eats up time you don’t have.

After hearing this again and again, I started asking myself: is there a simpler way for small businesses to handle their marketing?

That question nudged me out of a comfortable corporate role to build something for my peers — small business owners with limited time, limited budget, and no marketing degree. The mission was simple: help small businesses get bookings, stay consistent, and grow without losing their evenings to marketing.

When friends and family heard the idea, they jumped in immediately — testing, sharing feedback, and helping shape the platform. Peerie became a community project from the start: built by a small business for other small businesses.

That’s how Peerie got its name. In Shetland dialect, “peerie” means small — both a nod to my love of Scotland and a promise that small, well-designed systems can create big results. And the “peer” in Peerie matters too. This is about support, owner to owner.

Today, Peerie is becoming what busy owners need: a tailored digital marketing plan with clear weekly action steps and practical resources to help you focus on what matters and get the work done faster. Everything is built around your industry, goals, and the time you actually have; so you can book more work and keep your days free for what matters—running the business you love.
